Conceptualized by husband and wife design-duo Sabine and Christian Pound, Ecsotype color-customized and configurable leather bags are making their online debut at their newly launched e-shop, Ecsotype.com.French-born Sabine and Australian native Christian, have happily married their penchant for style and flair for living, respectively, into a veritable hybrid. Ahead of the curve, the Los Angeles niche men’s emporium All Purpose, became the first U.S. retailer of Ecsotype in January 2007.
The philosophy behind Ecsotype is two-fold, relating the creative process to the real consumer market and not the seasonal industry standard. Bucking the trend, Ecsotype will release new styles featuring a new color palette every 4 to 6 weeks, always offering a fresh perspective on the “new luxury.”
